एक सिक्के के दो पहलू हैं अनुवादक और शब्दकोश एक अनुवादक (translator) खुद में चलती—फिरती डिक्शनरी होता है। अपनी मातृभाषा (mother-tongue) या पेशेवर भाषा के शब्दों में वह दिन—रात डूबा रहता है। सामान्य बोलचाल में हमें यूं तो कभी शब्दकोश (dictionary) देखने की जरूरत नहीं होती है, लेकिन जब आप एक अनुवादक हों तो डिक्शनरी आपके लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है।   बाजार के साथ ​डिक्शनरी में पृष्ठ भी बढ़ते गए (Pages also increased in the dictionary with the market) अपने पढ़ाई के दिनों में मैं अपने पास तीन शब्दकोश हमेशा रखता था—पहली, फादर कामिल बुल्के (Father Kamil Bulke) का, दूसरा— डॉ. हरदेव बाहरी (Dr. Hardev bahri) का और तीसरा, डॉ. सैयद असद अली (Dr. Syed Asad Ali) का। हर दिन हिंदी, अंग्रेजी या उर्दू का कोई नया शब्द टकराता था और उसके अर्थ की तलाश में शब्दकोश उठ जाता था। परास्नातक तक की पढ़ाई में शब्दकोश हमेशा साथी रहा। बाद के दिनों में जब एक पूर्णकालिक, पेशेवर अनुवादक (Professional translator)   के रूप में कार्य—व्यापार शुरू किया तो शब्दकोशों की संख्या भी बढ़ने लगी। हिंदी में ही कार्यालयी हिंद

Recently, the team of Prolingo Editors came across a glorious story that touched our hearts. We had the privilege of helping a family settled in South Africa to connect with their roots. Words cannot express how happy and honored we felt to be a part of this journey. The family's longing to discover their ancestral village was palpable, and their determination to find it was inspiring. As we accompanied them on this journey, we witnessed their emotions and felt their joy as they finally found their ancestral village. This experience reminded us of the importance of staying connected to our roots, no matter where life takes us
